TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions (Conditions) set out the basis on which Kas di Laman Curacao hereafter KDLC (as defined below) will provide accommodation and other products and services at it apartments to Customers (as defined below) and Guests (as defined below).

By making a Booking (as defined below) the Customer agrees to comply with these Conditions.  

 

1. INTERPRETATION

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions have the following meanings:

“Arrival Date” means the date on which the guests stay at the hotel is due to commence, as per the Booking Details.

"Booking” means the reservation by the Customer of accommodation and any other products and services detailed in the Booking which is accepted by Kas di Laman Curacao.

“Booking Details” means the details of the Booking including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the duration of the Guests’ stay at KDLC and any other products and/or services to be included in the Booking.

"Charges” means the charges payable by the customer in connection with the Booking.

"Contract” means the contract between the Customer and KDLC. in relation to the Booking.

“Customer” means person who makes the Booking.

“Kas di Laman Curacao” means Revive B.V. or Kas di Laman Curacao or such other company in the same group of companies as Kas di Laman Curacao or Revive B.V. (that operates the apartments).

“Guests” means the Customer and any third parties they invite to Kas di Laman Curacao in connection with the Booking.

“Apartments” means the apartments owned or operated by KDLC the location of which is specified in the Booking.

 

2. BOOKINGS

Please note that different terms and conditions may apply in relation to all online bookings via kasdilamancuracao.com and affiliated websites, depending on the accommodation or rate type selected.

Please read carefully the accommodation rate details that are provided before you make your booking. You are advised to check thoroughly the rate details before making your online reservation.

This agreement governs bookings made by telephone and online.

When requesting bookings, customers will be required to provide identification information including, but not limited to, their name, address, contact telephone number and email address.

No request for a booking should be deemed to be accepted unless and until Kas di Laman Curacao confirms its acceptance and provides a booking reference, at which point the contract will come into existence.

Any request to change the dates or length of stay or add products and/or services will be subject to availability and the customer paying for such increased length of stay and/or products and/or services at KDLC's standard rates from time to time.

 

3. SETTLEMENT, GUARANTEE & CANCELLATION

 

Standard rate

50% of the total amount will be charged within two days after the reservation is booked.

The balance amount (50%) of the total price of your stay is due on arrival.

A refundable security deposit of US$100 is due on arrival.

Full refund for cancellations up to 30 days before check-in.

If booked fewer than 30 days before check-in, full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in.


After that, 100% of the prepaid amount of the reservation will be charged as cancellation costs up to 7 days before check-in.

Cancellation within 7 days before arrival, no-show or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent; 100% of the total price will be charged as cancellation costs


Full flexible rate 

The reservation has to be confirmed by your valid credit card details.

Please note that we charge the full amount of your reservation on arrival.

A refundable security deposit of US$100 is due on arrival.

Cancellation is free of charge until 24 hours prior to the date of arrival.

Cancellation within 24 hours prior to arrival, no-show or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent; 100% of the total price will be charged as cancellation costs. 

 

Non refundable rate

100% of the total amount will be charged within two days after the reservation is booked.

A refundable security deposit of US$100 is due on arrival.

Kas di Laman Curacao may at any time cancel the Booking if the payment details provided by the Customer are invalid and the Customer fails to provide alternative valid details.

We always advise our guests to take travel insurance.
 

6. FEES AND PAYMENT

The charges will be as quoted by Kas di Laman Curacao to the customer upon the customer’s request for a booking.

Unless otherwise agreed by Kas di Laman Curacao, the charges only cover the provision of accommodation at the hotel and the customer may incur additional charges including, without limitation, charges for meals, drinks, art, use of shop, late check out (the “Additional Charges”).

Customers will be informed of the amount of the additional charges before they are incurred.

Bookings will be subject to the customer: making payment of the charges in full in advance or paying a booking fee and/or deposit; and providing valid Debit or Credit Card details via which payment of the charges or the balance of the charges (as the case may be) and any additional charges can be taken at check in at the apartment or at the time of booking.

If not prepaid in full at time of booking the balance of the charges must be paid by the customer immediately on checking in at the hotel.

Any additional charges must be paid either as they are incurred or, at Kas di Laman's option, upon the customer checking out at the hotel.

 

7. METHOD OF PAYMENT

We accept the following payment methods:

8. WHAT"S INCLUDED

Luxurious, Deluxe and Premium apartments: wifi, water and electricity (20kWh/day).

Studios and Standards apartments; wifi, water and electricity (10kWh/day).

If allotted amounts are exceeded the difference will be settled with the security deposit.

Cost of electricity $0.50/kWh. All apartments have their own electricity meter to monitor usage.

Included supplies: set of bed linen, set of bath towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish washing liquid/dish washer tab (i.a.), roll of kitchen paper towels, Puro coffee-, sugar- and creamer sticks, tea bags (assorted flavours), Ritual's shampoo, & shower gel, box bathroom tissue. For the Nespresso coffee makers we provide 10 Puro coffee pods.

Touch-up of your apartment, towel change and amenity replenishment every other day, bed linen every 7th day. 

 

9. WHAT"S NOT INCLUDED IN DAILY RATE

End-cleaning. Price depends on the type of accomodation.

7% federal tax.

US$100 refundable security deposit.

 

10. CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT

Check-in time at Kas di Laman Curacao is from 4pm on the day of arrival.

Arriving early? No problem. You can safely store your luggage in the storage of Kas di Laman Curacao.

Check-in prior to 4pm may be available subject to prior arrangement with Kas di Laman Curacao and subject to the full range of services and facilities at the apartments not being available until the standard check in time.

Regular check-out time at the hotel booked is 11 am.

Later check-out times may be possible by prior arrangement with an additional charge and subject to availability.

In the absence of such prior arrangement, failure to check-out by 11 am may result in the Customer being charged for an additional night’s accommodation at the standard applicable rate.

All incidental charges must be settled upon checkout. If you want to stay longer, you can always ask for availability.

The security deposit will be refunded within 7 working days after check out if there are no expenses to be covered.

After check out, your luggage can be left in the storage of the Kas di Laman Curacao.

 

11. HOUSE RULES

It is forbidden to use our apartments for parties or gatherings where occupants of neighbouring apartments might be disturbed. If, on arrival, it is felt you are intending to use the apartments for such an event you may be refused entrance. If it is discovered that you are holding such an event after arrival you will be required to leave immediately. In such circumstances, We are not obliged to provide or locate alternative accommodation. The proportion of refund is at Our discretion

You agree to be liable for delayed or amended charges which may include: loss of keys, other consumption charges, provided services, damage to the accommodation, rooms left behind in an unreasonable way and eventual miscalculations by check-in, during your stay and after check-out.

The management team of Kas di Laman Curacao accepts no responsibility for any loss, accidents, personal injury, medical expenses or property damage caused by personal negligence or by any other circumstances beyond our control. The hotel is not responsible for valuables left in the apartments.

Valid photo identification in the form of a Driver License or Passport is required at check-in.

Customers are required to conduct themselves and ensure that their Guests conduct themselves in a reasonable and responsible manner at the apartment and must not act in any way which may disturb other guests. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in Guests being asked to leave Kas di Laman Curacao in which event all Charges and Additional Charges shall become immediately payable by the Guest.

These are non-smoking apartments as per Curacao law. You can have a cigarette outside. Please notice that smoking pot is also prohibited in outside public areas. We have to charge a minimum deep-clean fee of US$250 if you smoke in your apartment.

Because Kas di Laman Curacao will be your second home, you will likely bring personal belongings to the public areas. We will do our best to keep an eye on them. The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage caused at Kas di Laman Curacao Guests or visitor of the Guest. The Guest may be liable for Kas di Laman Curacao reasonable cost of repairing, cleaning or replacing any property of Kas di Laman Curacao which is damaged, soiled or lost by a Guest.

A safe is provided in all apartments to store personal items. Kas di Laman Apartments cannot be held liable for any items taken from the safe.

Guests who are under 18 cannot stay in our apartments, however they can stay when accompanied by an adult over 18 years and using existing bedding.

No animals are allowed in or around Kas di Laman Curacao with the exception of guide dogs. But we do have Erik. Please take care of him when you see him wondering around, looking for inspiration for a new concept.

Kas di Laman does not accept bookings made by those under the age of 16. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in automatic Cancellation with no refund given.

 

12. LIABILITY

You agree to be liable for delayed or amended charges which may include: loss of keys, other consumption charges, provided services, damage to the accommodation, rooms left behind in an unreasonable way and eventual miscalculations by check-in, during your stay and after check-out.

The management team of Kas di Laman Curacao accepts no responsibility for any loss, accidents, personal injury, medical expenses or property damage caused by personal negligence or by any other circumstances beyond our control. Kas di Laman is not responsible for valuables left in the apartments.

Kas di Laman Curacao cannot be held liable for direct or indirect damage as a consequence of the client’s use of the stusios or apartments and public areas, including and without limitation, damages, and losses because of fire, robbery or criminal behaviour.

Kas di Laman Curacao cannot be held liable for death, injury to a person, loss of, or damage to any property of any person staying/visiting Kas di Laman Curacao.

Kas di Laman Curacao cannot be held liable for any damages caused by third parties.

The person booking the reservation is responsible for any direct or indirect damage of the Kas di Laman apartments or studio's and public areas and loss of any of its contents.

We expect everyone staying at Kas di Laman Curacao to take all reasonable care of Kas di Laman Curacao property.

Please report any damage, loss or improper cleanliness of your stusio or apartment, as we want to fix it as soon as possible to make you feel right at home.

In addition, this will prevent you from being held responsible for any damage or loss during or after your stay.

In the case of leaving your studio or apartment or any other area on Kas di Laman Curacao property with any damage, missing of items or heavy pollution, your credit card provided at check-in or booking can be charged for the associated costs.

The Customer agrees that Kas di Laman Curacao is only supplying its facilities, products and services to the Customer for private use and have no liability to the Customer for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
